Sara Stratton

NTP, ONC, ACSM-ACS, AIM, Cancer Exercise Specialist

Oncology Nutrition Consultant

A life-long health enthusiast, Sara has spent more than 20 years working in the healthcare space to help expand access to traditional and functional medicine, while focusing on her personal pursuits as a recreational athlete and health optimization. However, her world was turned upside down when she received a breast cancer diagnosis at just 37 years old. Determined to keep her body resilient against traditional cancer therapies, Sara paved her own path to combine modern medicine with a holistic approach that focused on nutrition, exercise, mindset, and environment.

Following her treatment journey, Sara pursued certifications from the Nutritional Therapy Association and the Oncology Nutrition Institute with a goal to help others achieve optimal health by understanding the importance of optimizing their terrain through a nutrient-dense diet, regular exercise, modifiable lifestyle factors, and a positive outlook. She is also a certified Cancer Exercise Specialist, completing training from the American College of Sports Medicine.

Today, five years after her diagnosis, Sara is thriving. She lives in Northern California and loves to explore her local farmers' markets, hike, lift weights, practice hot yoga, participate in Spartan Races, and go on adventures with her husband and two daughters. Her personal experience has inspired her to help others eat, move, and live with purpose. You can read more about her journey through her treatment blog: purposelyrooted.com

Sara has also recently completed the AIM course with Metabolic Regen. The Advanced Integrative Metabolic Course (AIM) is an intensive program for experienced practitioners ready to master advanced metabolic protocols. This certification program combines cutting-edge research with practical clinical applications to create leaders in metabolic oncology.
