2019 In Review

Jess Higgins Kelley:

Jess has been busy with students and curriculum development at the Oncology Nutrition Institute this

year while also in the early phases of building a retreat center and planting medicinal gardens in Maine. She is overjoyed working with Jen and Alix and seeing the successes clients at Remission Nutrition are having. Jess has become a very dedicated yoga student while also enjoying time with her husband and daughter, who is in first grade this year.

Jen Nolan:

In 2019, Jen found herself biking, running and skiing in the mountains and traveling to colleges in preparation for her daughter, Ruby, to graduate from highschool in 2020!  She also was busy studying genetics as it relates to nutrition and cancer and completing the certified practitioner program through Nutrition Genome. Mostly, Jen has been blessed to work with the many wonderful Remission Nutrition clients, to learn about them, hear their stories and help them bring more wellness and healing into their journey.

Alix Berglund:

2019 marked Alix's first full year working for Remission Nutrition and, she notes that 25 years into her professional life, she finally feels like she has found the perfect fit! 2019 also marked the completion of her studies with the Oncology Nutrition Institute and her certification as an Oncology Nutrition Consultant. As Alix looks ahead to 2020, she's excited for an improved client experience with the launch of the new Practice Better Client Portal and, on a personal level, fulfilling a decades long dream of traveling to Nepal for a two week trek in the Himalayas.
