Happy Thanksgiving, Turkey Day, Harvest, Gratitude Gathering, or whatever you want to call this lovely Thursday. Just like that, the Holiday Season is upon us. This time of year is full of excitement, family time, lots of delicious food, and so much gratitude. It can be easy to slip into the more "material" ways of the Holidays, so we want to take a moment to take a deep breath and share some gratitude with you. So, here is what the fantastic Remission Nutrition Team is grateful for this year...

"Looking back on this year, my heart is full of gratitude. At the top of my list is an appreciation for my body’s resilience. Through every health challenge—whether acute or chronic—I’m continually amazed by how the body can recover. Yes, good nutrition and intentional lifestyle practices matter, but the ability for cellular healing is such a gift.

I’m also deeply grateful for my clients, who invite me into their world so I can support them, learn from them, and grow alongside them. Their trust is something I never take for granted.

As I celebrated my 20th Wedding Anniversary this year, I am thankful for having a partner that truly supports me and makes me feel seen and safe.

And to round out my gratitude, I am appreciative for the space to continually learn - from my colleagues at Remission Nutrition, to the opportunity to further my education in Advanced Integrative Metabolics through Metabolic Regen - all of which fuels my purpose and keeps me inspired for what’s ahead."

"As the year begins to wind down, I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude — not in the polished, Pinterest way, but in the steady, everyday practice that keeps me anchored. Each morning, I sit with my gratitude journal and write down three things I’m thankful for and why they matter. That “why” is what brings me back to myself. It reminds me of what’s real, what deserves my attention, no matter how big or small. This simple ritual has become an absolute must for me throughout the year, especially in the moments that feel overwhelming or too fast.

In this time of reflection, I keep coming back to the people who make Remission Nutrition what it is. The clients who allow us to witness their journeys with honesty and courage. And the team that stands with me in this work: Sara, whose devotion and heart show up in ways large and small every single day, and Ruby, my daughter, whose compassion, creativity, and strength continue to move me beyond words. Being surrounded by people who lead with integrity and soul is something I never take for granted. I learn something every day from our inspiring clients, our partners, and our team.

I’m also hugely grateful for my family and friends — the ones who remind me to slow down, breathe, laugh, and focus on what truly matters. They are the voices that bring me back to center when life gets loud or complicated. As I look toward the season ahead, I’m reminded that the things that matter most are rarely the biggest or most impressive. They’re the quiet moments, the connections that hold us, the people who show up, and the practices that bring us home to ourselves.

My hope is that this season encourages all of us to pause long enough to notice the small blessings that often go unseen — the glimmers of goodness woven into ordinary days. Gratitude has a way of softening the edges and shifting our perspective, and I hope it brings you the same steadiness and warmth it brings me each morning."

"The past year has held so much healing, growth, and change in my life. Between graduating from college, moving back to my hometown, and trying to find my path, I have been extremely busy, but I have also had a lot of moments of nothing. I am grateful for this quiet time, where life has felt a little off balance. I have been gifted time to decipher what will serve me best.

I am tremendously grateful for the people around me, from my friends and family who go on every adventure with me to those with whom I stay close with even at a distance. I'm grateful for my boyfriend, Slater, who has shown me his support through every twist and turn and seems to always have a positive nature.

Working at Remission Nutrition has been a gift, and I not only have the best boss ever, but getting to work with and know Sara has been so special. Also, getting to write these blog posts, create social media content, and dream up ways to branch out and grow has been inspiring. Talking to people every day through email or on the phone has brought so many new and inspiring humans into my world. I have gained a lot of knowledge working here, so thanks to all of you!

I have recently started dancing again, which has brought a sense of peace and being in my life. I am so incredibly grateful for my body for allowing me to move in the healing way that dance brings.

Mother Nature is where my heart lies, in the mountains, rivers, lakes, and trees. I always feel like myself when I am immersed in the beauty and nourishment that our planet provides. I wish to never stray away from that deep connection to the Earth, and I am forever grateful.

Finally, I am grateful for gratitude. It is one of the simplest ways that we as human beings can get out of our heads and appreciate this world around us. Even through tough times, we can pause and find something, no matter how small, that we are grateful for. Hold onto that and bring it through life with you."
